Terms & Conditions

The auction of the art pieces will commence on 28 August 00:00hrs and will end on 31 October 23:59hrs.

  1. Registration

    All interested participants who register for the auction must be over the age of 21 years old (“Bidders”).
    The art pieces can be viewed at:-
    Viewing Location: The Cathay, Internal Atrium
    View Hours: 1 September 2018 to 30 September 2018, 10am to 10pm

  2. Prices

    All prices reflected in the auction site are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

  3. Sale of Items

    All auction sales are final. All items sold are “As is” condition.

  4. Payment Terms

    Upon the close of the auction, the details of the highest Bidder for each art piece will be sent to Rainbow Centre. Rainbow Centre will then issue the invoices to the respective successful Bidders (thereafter known as the “Buyers”).

  5. No Warranties

    Pilot Pen (S) Pte Ltd makes no warranty as to the authenticity of the Painting (whether or not exhibited with any certificate or opinion or other supporting document or mark) and the Buyer shall accept the Painting as it is with all faults and error of description.

  6. No Third Party Beneficiaries

    A person who is not a party to the sale and purchase shall have no right to enforce any terms herein.

  7. Tax Deduction

    Buyers who purchase the item(s) may claim a tax deduction.

    The Buyer must be a Singapore tax resident or a Singapore registered body corporate to be entitled to a tax deduction, which will be automatically included in their tax assessment. As such, IRAS (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore) will require the Buyer’s full name and NRIC/UEN/FIN.

  8. Logistics

    Upon the close of the auction, the item(s) will be released to the Buyer within 10 working days after receipt of payment for the art pieces.

  9. Personal Data Protection

    By accepting these terms and conditions, Bidders and Buyers consent to Pilot Pen (S) Pte Ltd collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing their personal data for the purposes of administering and/or managing the relationship and/or account with Pilot Pen (S) Pte Ltd.

All Bidders and Buyers who register must agree to the terms and conditions.
